is a Writer, Multimedia artist, and Creative Director based in Chicago.

Maya earned her bachelor's in Fine Arts and Fashion Business from Columbia College Chicago.   She completed her master’s in Art Administration at the University of New Orleans.

In 2024, she released her first poetry book, “Chronically, Bone Deep”. She has work in “These Dark Things: 12 New Gothic Tales,” where her short story “The Bones of Ambrose Plantation” is featured.

When she is not writing or creating, she is at home hanging out with her girlfriend, their 2 cats and goldfish, Xena the Warrior Princess.
